Whenever I find my sense of taste becoming a bit jaded I reach for the menthol. It seems to invigorate the old taste buds and after a couple of hours I can go back to and taste the full flavour of my other juices.

Menthol is so easy to make @johanino all you need is PG/vg/nic base and menthol crystals which you can buy from any pharmacy for less than £2. Make up a base to your nic level with your PG/vg ratio, then add menthol crystals to taste. If you have a dripped I would start with only 4-5 crystals and then add more if necessary. I don't bother to dissolve the crystals first, just use a pair of tweezers to add them one at a time to the made up juice, then shake to mix.

Cigarettes contain Chocolate and Liquorice, both of which, when burnt give off a chemical that relaxes your throat muscles and opens your airways to allow more smoke right down into your lungs.
Menthol flavouring mimics this sensation and therefore adds to the perceived enjoyment of vaping over smoking.

andy01424 - I don't use Menthol very often, but I have a red clearo with a bright blue driptip so that I can always spot my menthol in my rather untidy vaping box! I also use it exclusively for menthol - you're right, it's almost impossible to banish once you've introduced it. Might be worth while treating yourself to a tank of your choice just for Menthols, it'll be money well spent

Menthol and mint is my main liquid, also add a few drops to other liquids, spot on for taste every time. Strangely never used it when on the stinkies.

A few drops of menthol in the usual tobacco mix gives the taste buds a blast now and then..
