I just never really fancied it. However, at our last Cornwall meet I tried zeldamum 's homebrew menthol & really liked it. So eventually got round to placing my first order for menthol juice (50/50 PG/VG) & it arrived today. It's so refreshing & the flavour alone gives a brilliant throat hit.

Glad you are enjoying menthol Chrissie its great when you have a blocked nose as well. We will get you into more flavour at the next meet up.

My fav is Minth.

Menthol and Spearmint in a 50/50 flavour mix.

I finish everyday with an hour of this. It clears the tubes for a heavenly nights sleep.

lobeydosser I got a soft mint as well, so after that has steeped, I'll give it a go with mixing it with the menthol - the menthol so doesn't nheed to be steeped - or does it?

Nope, menthol is potent from day one, as fair as I've discovered. I had some this morning too, as it happened, had to drive from St. Agnes to Penzance and the head in my Lemon Meringue Pie-filled Protank failed, so had to slip on my backup Spearmenth - worked a treat in an (old!) clearomiser!!

As a smoker I used to have the odd menthol one and loved them but I can't vape the stuff !! Glad you've found something new you like Chrissie

If it's anything like the NJOY menthol disposable sure it'll be fab. Don't like menthol e-cigs as a rule but one puff of that and it was fabbo...

I've got a big stash of menthol and I add a few drops to everything I vape now! Wasn't at all into it when I started but now I couldn't be without it, just enough so you know it's there, so it doesn't overpower the other flavours. Gives you a real lung full feeling. Also brilliant for making those impulse buy juice errors a tad more palatable!

Colgate is more like peppermint which menthol isn't.

You do get sick of menthol eventually and it affects your sense of taste and smell a bit, used to make my nose water also. I vaped nothing but homemade (menthol crystals soaked in a base) for months but eventually got tired of it. Menthol crystals with fruit flavouring can be  really nice if you get the balance right. Crystals are super-potent though, even 5 sugar sized granules will give a mild menthol flavour to 30ml of base; it's probably the cheapest flavoured liquid you'll ever use.

I think menthol should be a staple in everyone's vaping stand. Great for times when you taste buds have gone to sleep, so easy to mix ans as you say so much cheaper than other flavoured liquids. Cherry and menthol is one of my favs.

My daughter who doesn't smoke wants to to make her up some methol (in 0mg of course) so she can see what all the fuss is about.
