Hi all, question for you!!

i am new here but have been using 10 motives ecig for coming on 2 years. 
I have always been fine with it and not worried but recently I have become paranoid about it. Now I am going to sound like a complete nutcase but once I thought about this I can't stop, so I am hoping someone will put my mind at ease!!
i spend a lot of time with my small nieces and nephews and never use the ecig around them, but have started to panic about hugging and kissing them after using my ecig. My question is, how long does the nicotine stay in the mouth and will I breath it on them? Also if I accidentally got a small bit of liquid on my hands without realising it, would it hurt them if it got on their clothes or skin?? Sometimes the liquid leaks onto my lips so I always have a drink to wash it away, is this enough?? I know I am going a big overboard, but it does freak me out somewhat!!

panda12 I really don't think that the amount of nicotine on your lips or breath would be hazardous in the slightest. Different if the kiddies got hold of some e-liquid but I certainly would not panic about the circumstances you speak of.

I absolutely concur with @freefromsmoking - I am no scientist, but am pretty sure that the amount of nicotine we are talking about here would cause no damage whatsoever. I'm sure someone will be along to let us all know just how quickly the mucus membranes in our mouths absorb the nicotine fro our vapour, but it must happen quite quickly.
As far as the juice is concerned, a small amount on your hands should be OK for you, but a quite rinse or wash before handling kiddies would perhaps be prudent. The small bit in your mouth when vaping I would think is diluted enough by a mouthful of water too.
In effect, nothing at all to worry yourself about.

Welcome. Your concerns are understandable. I think the vaping community is mostly not worried any more about possible dangers of vaping around other people (passive vaping is almost proven as totally safe). There will be trace elements of vapour in/on your clothes etc, but the levels will be so small they will pose no danger. Small liquid transference is unlikely to be an issue - even if you did have the tiniest little bit on your hands or lips, I'm sure that we are talking almost no danger at all. Please don't give it any more thought.

How are the 10 motives? I don't know how anybody could possibly quit using these; but fair play to you if you've done so. I'm impressed.

I love the 10 motives!! Tried one of the other ones that you refill yourself and couldn't get on with it. Think I am addicted to the flavour of 10 motives!! Cigarette free for 2 years!!
