K1 RBA users/triers

Im waiting on some cups to arrive in the post but I watched Todds review of the killer tonight and the set up seems fairly similar to the diver,

So I put the K1 together and in a tank and I noticed that when it is on my MOD's the draw is nearly impossible. Does this only work on certain MODs? I read one of the reviews about a floating centre pin?

I see it has air holes either side of the 510 but it appears to me as if they are blocked off and it take air from the bottom?

Any help would be appreciated before I try and get this wicked and working tomorrow

What mod you using this on ginge? got a photo of the K1?

I read somewhere today about an o ring blocking the air holes, it wouldn't be this would it?

Hi Ginge, good luck with this one, imho these are way too much of a hassle to set up(i never got mine to work) and i don't think billy @ grey haze is ordering anymore but here is a lengthy instruction manual wrote on billy's blog after he was inundated with customers not getting them to work or the ceramics breaking. if you get this working well you have done exceptional and deserve a   anyways here is the link to the instructions:  greyhaze.co.uk/blogs/grey-haze-blog/8717355-setting-up-the-k1-rba-for-carto-tanks

i had the same problem and you just need to unscrew the centre pin, remove the grommet blocking the air holes and replace the pin

I remembered after I hit the sack last night that it was the centre pin thing they said had blocked the air holes on whatever I read

Thanks for the info guys, Ill take a look today. I emailed grey haze for some advice and they did not reply. Im not sure if they are getting over whelmed but they seem to be making a few mistakes with orders lately so may not have time for emailing customers?

Just took the centre pin apart to find a stupid plastic bung on there, Not to sure why its on there? Its now removed and the draw is good on my MOD's. Lets see if I can get this thing working now

i ended up cutting a slot in the side of the o-ring that holds the bottom pin to get airflow in mine.
