I've been gone from the flat for 30 days and forgot to put my base back in the frig. I just left it in my closet. The temp was set for 72 F...I returned and to my surprise, the once crystal clear Nic base had turned a light yellow...It still was clear but yellow (no fog). I made three batches of juice that once would turn light red, orange, and dark yellow....All three turned yellow...All three tasted ok.....But not as good....not as flavorful...My question is has anybody had this happen to them?........Also, What happened?.... I thought 30 days wouldn't matter.....but it did. Thanks for any input. Tim

tfulpNicotine is an alkaloid substance and can oxidise over time, colour changes and loss of potency are indicators of this, but if your cap was on tight it shouldn't be too severe.. I'm afraid it's a case of putting it down to experience.

Why did you put your nic base in the toilet? Maybe that's why it turned yellow?
