I can really understand this, I'm a terrible driver too    I've been through my test 20 years and still have no confidence to drive very far or on strange roads    and my parking is a whole other story 

Is there any way you could use public transport?

Bit scared though, lol, she only passed her test a few weeks ago, but having said that shes already a far better driver than her scatty Mum.

Now we just have to sort out a route that involves no motorway driving...I trust her, but not THAT much

Great news smokey. Well we all bring lots of stuff. Talk rubbish for a few hours, have a few drinks, well a lot of drinks and just have a great time. Yes swaps happens. Bring what you dont like and help yourself to what is on the swap table pretty much. You can try other peoples juices. You can have a nosey at there equipment.

I am actually working on a vendor from bristol but i have had no reply to my email so not sure if anything will happen there.

All in all just a dam good funny night.

Glad its not just me Karma

Ive only been driving for 35 years though, so Im still getting into the swing of it My daughter is SO much better than me already, obviously a natural, where-as I find it hard to walk in a straight line without knocking into things/people, yet alone drive! My insurance premiums are MASSIVE, ive had so many knocks! Last time I tried to park in a layby in the dark (dont ask,lol) I reversed back into a ditch! Had to call the local Farmer to pull me out.

Public transport probably wouldnt work, Im in a little village and buses are a rare sight here.

Now, if anyone was passing through here on the way and had 2 spare seats...well. That would be ideal

Otherwise, looks like Daughter and I will try the drive, without motorways....we may get there for last orders

Wow great news g3mma. No the date is set now matter what so no problems there. As for hotels there is a travel lodge in Glastonbury which is 10-15 min away.
