Have you thought about trying the bamboo cotton stuff, I think someone was offering some on one of the threads, it's meant to taste cleaner than silica/Ekowool and be more resilient than cotton wool.

I have been using the Wolf brand silica from VaporFreak recently and it's definitely the best silica I have used. I think it's as good as Ekowool (though it's about the same price!). I just dry burn thoroughly and flame the Kanthal before wrapping. I get excellent taste right from the off and it seems to last longer than Ekowool in my atties.

Neil is selling it mate, the only downful is it can't be dry burned So it is no different to cotton wool as far as I am aware?

Im going to see how that stealth vape silica works out.

I put a new wick in a KFL about 6 hours ago using the vape mesh stuff and the taste is only just starting to be what it should

ginge7289 I just done a side by side test with Silica vs Ekowool using 2 x Evods as i don't have two of the same thing of anything else and Ekowool winds hands down, so yes you are a fussy sod

It must be the silica I have? It does shock me because when I was smoking I would smoke all most anything
