Has anybody tried any of these?
Reviews and discussions on the internet seem mixed, almost a 50/50 split. Either people love them or hate them.
I fancy a little tinkering around, and these look like a good starting point at a very good price.
Anyone have any advice or info they can share?
Jag. (Starting a learning curve.)

I've got a 19b Sigelei and have enjoyed tinkering with it.
With these it's been very much a case of you get what you pay for. For some people they've been good to go straight out of the box and for others they have needed some tweaking before they work at all.
Celtic vapes (Name soon to change) have a good range of what is available and they also sell some spare parts which can improve the performance of your sigelei mod.

As an ex pipe smoker, I have always enjoyed the rituals involved, however since starting on this great adventure of Vaping I have found myself pondering the pros and cons of Mods..Mechs are fine if that is your thing as are Electronics...but I'm more concerned about an easy life nowadays. Have had both over the years and can see the advantages of no circuits to fail. I suppose I'm just a lazy bugger.. fill it up, push the button, Vape....

I've got a 13a and a 20 - they're both fairly solid and they work pretty well. I reckon they're a good introduction to mechanical mods - for a relatively cheap price they allow you to figure out the kind of features you like (or dislike) before you go splashing out on a high-end mod.

I think ... I think ... I really don't see the point. I have 2 mechanical mods and I don't use them. IF I was into building posh atomizers to exact resitance etc. then they are kind of cool. Mine are just expensive back ups. I just want to fill and vape. Cool things are only better than not cool things if they work better for the purpose. I'll get my coat.

Thanks for the replies people. I think the Mechanical Mod scenario will remain a "Suck it and see" adventure. Sometimes, that can be a good thing. Sometimes ..... not. I'll just have to keep mulling it over for the time being. Jag. (Certified shinyitis sufferer.)
