I still wouldn't buy any e-cig products from e-bay. We have some great, reasonably priced UK vendors that really do go the extra mile for their customers. If I fancy a bit of a gamble on cheaper stuff then I'd rather order myself directly from China than an Ebay seller that doesn't know one end of an e-cig from the other Karma ... you will get no argument from me on that ... 100% agreement!

satanswombat Sadly it's true about "you get what you pay for".. if a genuine vendor supplies goods you do have recourse int he event of something going wrong, this guy is selling from his flat!! Ebay is OK for some stuff, but you must be careful just who you deal with. if it's just a spare battery you are after, they can be picked cheap from any of the vendors listed on this forum... often with discount as well. Buy in Haste.. Repent at leisure BTW...anyone know whereHaste is??

I wouldn't buy e-cig gear from Ebay as it's been banned by Ebay so the seller could be banned at any time Post us the link and we'll see what we can find you at a similar price Karma ... I think it is only products containing nicotine that eBay ban ie: e-liquid and pre-filled cartos No @freefromsmoking it wasn't just products containing nicotine that they banned. Under their prohibited items they list - Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) or accessories

I know that they prohibit "ecig" items Chrissie but there are currently almost 62,000 "shisha" items up for auction and you can't tell me that eBay don't know that there is no difference between ecig and shisha in terms of what these items are.

I've bought some bits and pieces recently from ebay, batteries, lanyards etc, seems they are letting things through so long as they don't contain any nicotine?
I bought my eGo-T a few weeks ago from fasttech.com, great prices and great service, but tbh I wish i had found this site first and spent a little more, still this ego has got me off cigs so all good really.

The reason I wouldn't buy anything e-cig related (especially Ego type batteries) from an unknown e-bay seller, or indeed anywhere else that I didn't know was a reputable vendor is simple. There are large numbers of factories churning this stuff out in China - many copying each other and cutting their prices to the bone with inevitable consequences for their quality control. You have only had to have had the experience of a Li-on battery going thermal once to know that you don't want to take chances on something you are sticking near your face on a regular basis! Good vendors know from experience who the most reliable suppliers are and regularly check the stuff they sell. Well worth an extra £ or so I'd say
