Ok so first of all I ordered about a 6 weeks's worth of juices to tide me over while my home brew steeps... One of which I ordered was ABC by Chefs Vapour. This one I was going to wait about 4 weeks before using but since the liquid batch code states that it was made 5 weeks ago I figured I'd give it a puff. Now this is MOURISH. It is a lovely deep custard flavour that remains in the mouth. Of the custards I have tried (too many) I would say that this one is on the more savoury side. I'm not sure that any custard can actually be savoury xD but this is not a terribly sweet one. That said it has an awesome flavour. I will probably be adding a little sweetener to make it perfect for my taste but I just wanted to put this one out there.... It is a goodun! Edit: Made the image less über Based on this review, you are going to LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEEE Custardy Lovechild TomWhere does one acquire this particular beastie? Being somewhat of a lovechild myself I am intrigued.

I'd say complain, if no replacement, try heat, cold, WD-40 to remove screw but be prepared for it being stripped/ wrecking threads in the process, wait for replacement while swearing a lot.

Hi,
I'm having an odd problem with juicejoose pineapple and I'm wondering if it is something I have / haven't done?
Every now and again I have a tank of the above that starts giving a very sharp unpleasant taste. On one occasion I also had a layer of clear liquid form on top of a denser "oily looking" layer that would resist shaking and simply separate again.
Am I doing something wrong in the steeping process?
Or are the heads I have been recoiling causing it?

Do the airflows disassemble for cleaning?
The type one did ok with denture tablets but the v2 seems a little stubborn.

Ok maybe I am looking at this from the wrong angle.
What other mech mods use the same threading where you can buy a replacement top-cap?
Spring loaded pin would be an improvement on the floating pin on the astro I think.
I have been informed it is 20 by 1 threading which is fairly common.

Hi, The battery incident has resulted in the derlin around the floating pin shrinking so it just falls out of the top cap now. Does anywhere sell replacements to keep me going until the replacement astro arrives from fastech? del

If I can clean any of the tubes well enough they will definitely be reused.
It's the corrosion on the surface which will knacker the conductivity etc I think.
I'm vaping away on the thing ( with the kick back in ) at the moment and have ordered a v2 airflow control for the aerotank with the knacked threads. Hopefully they are made of stronger cheese. :/
This will be the second replacement airflow I have ordered in the last couple of weeks.

Danged aerotank airflow threads. At 3am this morning the aerotank in my astro clone stopped firing. I wondered if the kick had gone so took it out and rebuilt everything. THEN I noticed the tank was sitting squint so jiggled it a bit and screwed it on a little tighter. You can probably guess what happened next as the base shorted - connected straight into a 10 amp high drain battery. It took me two sets of pliers and a towel to get everything apart as the switch stuck in the on position with battery gunk. By the time I got it apart the centre pin in the top of the mech came out and now only sits in place instead of holding securely and there are marks and blemishes all over the place. The battery looked like I had gently blow torched it and was left venting slightly in a teflon pan with a glass lid held on with a towel in case it exploded. The astro is still working but I still think I'm going to have to replace it because of the corrosion etc. FML

Are you placing a wick between the coils? Actually no. There wasn't one in the originals. Makes perfect sense though.

Hi, I seem to have a problem with these threads stripping/ degrading ( on two tanks from different vendors ) to the point they won't screw onto the vamo. Because the Mech has a floating center pin ( so the top of the thread catches ) I can still use them fine on that and one of my old ego batteries - is anyone else having problems with them or have I just done something wrong?
