Not sure whether this is the correct place to be asking ( if a mod could move it if necessary please do).
I bought a couple of protank 2's and noticed that one leaked at the top where the head meets the glass. I have dismantled both protank 2's and noticed that only one has a rubber o ring in the metal top part (obviously the one without the o ring was leaking). Now, I suppose I could take it back to the shop where I bought it but they may think that I have lost it and I can't prove otherwise. So is it possible to buy o ring replacements? Do any of you know where I can get them from?
Your help would be greatly appreciated as its my better half's protank 2 and she keeps eyeing up my leak free one :-D
Thanks in advance
Steve

Iwas talking to a vendor and apparently quite a few have gone out with o rings missing (he checks his now before dispatch) you can get o rings from any plumbing ,hardwear shop or on line just mesure width accros and thikness .

Your rights if an item is faulty.... In the first six months from when you buy something, the onus is on the seller to prove it was of satisfactory quality when you received it.
This is the law, the shop/retailer cannot get out of his responsibility of supplying faulty goods. You do not have to prove was faulty when you bought it, the seller has to prove it was not. So I would go back to the shop.
