Could be diacetyl, which according to this thread may not be an ingredient but a by-product of dairy-type flavours Lemme know if you want some of my favourite fruity juice

Blownupdolly Hi Dolly so sorry to read about your problem with `custard` juices. At least you know which juice flavour brings on your problem. As already stated there are 100`s of flavours to choose from. Enjoy your journey with new flavours. My best wishes to you and `Billy`, take care. Jeff.

Aww Dolly, what a shame!! I can only apologise for publishing a recipe which has had such an adverse effect on you! Of all the industrial hazards (asbestos, coal dust, lumber lung) the plight of the custard miners is the least reported. It is believed that the custard quangos have effectively kept the news media gagged over this for many years. I hope you find a scrumptious alternative

Could well be the Diketones ( Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl ) that a number of the popular Vanilla Custard flavourings contain Dolly. Find a Custard flavouring that doesn't and it might resolve the issues.
Unfortunately the custard flavour also suffers without these ingredients though . . . .

Although, if it affects the usual taste might not be worth it.vi will just have to find something different that I like as much. I reckon it's going to be a hard task.

Google popcorn makers lung I think Dolly? Can't recall. It was all in the vape media when I first started....that was 2 years ago!!! Or it could be as perpy suggested. Sure it's the flavouring though and not the VG. I have a few probs with PG but now am down to 60/40 am happy (as was an 85/15 girl for a while LOL) Jane

Meaning that it can still be in your vape even if the maker didn't put it in. No idea how reliable that information is though. I do know there are some flavourings I don't get on with at all, I do get on with VG much better than PG, and I vape mainly fruits these days too. Hubby has also just switched to VG from PG as it made him all chesty, the poor dab. I recently tried GVC after about 6 months of abstinence and (brace yourselves) didn't like it at all. Blegh!

I loved my GVC. So did my OH and daughter. However, even though I can't vape custard anymore, I will have to keep making Steve's recipe for them. Lazy gits won't do it themselves!!

No way, put them to work! Motivation should be easy enough - no mixy, no custard! You could try something with a fruit and vanilla, see if that eases the transition. Or a cheesecake maybe?
