I never thought of bicarb to soak them - I always use it aswell to get rid of my son's shakes from his bottles
Going give that a shot. I got some menthol to awaken my tastebuds after quitting but can't take to it at all, not a minty person

( No bicarb either! Baking powder is as close as I have lol Plan B then, I do have another evod with a horrible vanilla in it, there's a little left but don't want to empty it incase the juice doesn't come today It just seems like I will have no other option but to buy more evods in pretty, pretty colours, oh woe. Thanks everyone! i believe baking powder would have pretty much the same effect as bicrb, baking powder contains bicarb as well as some other ingredients like starch and an anti clumping agent

I used some horrible "vanilla" in my evod last week, it seemed to be about 90% camphor & i couldn't get the taste out of the evod either, then i watched someone sampling different flavours on youtube by dripping a could of drops onto the wick, sampling and reviewing, then burning it off again before moving on to the next juice. So i gave it a try in mine, i'd already given it a few good rinses, then i unscrewed the bottom as if i was going to fill it up, i then used some small pliers to pull off the coil cover and knurled spout revealing the wick underneath. Then i screwed this, just the coil assembly, back onto the battery and hit the power button, this zapped the coil and made it smoke nicely for a couple of seconds before stopping and repeating, on about the third zap the menthol smell had almost gone, so i dripped on a little strong Hangsen strawberry, zapped that a couple of times, then i unscrewed it again, pushed back the coil cover, filled it up with more strawberry and it was back to vaping again with no menthol taste. Sounds a right faff i know but it only took a few mins and it worked, if you want to see a video search youtube for evod review re-wick...in fact to save searching click HEREWatch out you don't lose the strands of wick on top of the actual coil though, although removing one of them as seen in the video did improve mine Hope that helps Vlad

I had a similar issue with a Kayfun last week, it was an absolute nightmare to get rid of the flavour.
Make sure you break it down in as many pieces as possible. I used Bi carb but went out and got some denture tablets in the end. I soaked them 5 or 6 times in denture tablets then water.
The main culprits for holding the flavour are the o rings.

personally i think the best way would be to invest in an ultrasonic cleaner, not only could you steep your liquids in it but you could clean all your ecig hardware
