Evods: Getting rid of menthol

Morning AAEC!

I've had the menthol juice I got in my starter kit in my evod and no matter how long I rinse it for it just won't get rid of the smell and I don't want the menthol taste to mix with the next juice I want to put in.

I don't have access to denture tablets right now and can't get to the shop due to poor mobility/health at the moment.

Any other suggestions?

Sassy menthol is notoriously difficult, if not impossible, to get rid of completely. The only real answer is to keep a separate tank for menthol. If that's not possible a new head would be next-best as the flavour clings to the wicks.

you will probable find that the main culprit to retaining the flavour is the head itself..
Failing denture tablets, try soaking in Bicarbonate of soda...every houshold usually has some in a kitchen cupboard somwhere..

If all else fails, I'm afraid its a recoil/rewick job

Sassy some say bi-carb works i've never tried it but anything is worth a try, i would imagine half a teaspoon in hot (not boiling) water in a small glass or something similar

No bicarb either! Baking powder is as close as I have lol

Plan B then, I do have another evod with a horrible vanilla in it, there's a little left but don't want to empty it incase the juice doesn't come today

It just seems like I will have no other option but to buy more evods in pretty, pretty colours, oh woe.
