you should be able to just pull the wick through the coil, if you can't it's too tight.

Really? Then mine is definitely too tight! But I must have been sent a thinner wire. I'll order some .2 and try again. Thanks guys

If you got the wire from www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/index.html i had the same the other week when they sent me the wrong wire, email them and tell them, got mine resolved in about 2-3 days

I double 1.5 silica and wrap 0.2 Kanthal a
4 wraps comes out at 1.8 ish and 5wraps at 2.2ish

I use a meter sometimes myself, and alwys after the head is mounted..I tried once unmounted and the readings were all over the place.

crin766 if you do decide to get more wire get the following:

Wick: www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/products/2mm--2-000-Micron-or-12-AWG--Ekowool-Wick---1-Metre-Length-2425.html (More expensive but worth it)
Wire: www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/products/kanthal-A1-heat-resistance-wire-020mm-10metre-2373.html
If you have one of these then great: www.28vapeslater.com/18-gauge-needle-blunt-12216-p.asp if not a 1mm drill bit will do

Cut your length of wick and slide the drill bit through the center of the Ekowool (it's hollow) and roll the wick around the drill bit to make it form roundness as Ekowool is flat and then do your wraps with the 0.2 Kanthal.

Do a nice and tightish wrap with the coils close to each other, do five wraps for end result 2.0ohms

p.s Make sure your hands are clean as touching wick with dirty fingers, i.e grease etc etc will stick too the wick

its just a "standard"...sort of classification kanthal 0.2 is my recomendation but do remember to flame it first, not only rids the contaminents,but makes it easy to work.

Yeah I got some ecowool last time. It's great in the mini nova but not as good in the protank. I'll order more wier - is it worth tryingsome .25 aswell?

Could say that and the 10 clearo's i have to do every 2-3 days for my OH as she keeps burning the wicks

Ah I'm lucky there, OH only a light vaper. But does tend to raid my juice stash at times...
