+1 for both Stealth vape and mesh company. Remember if you want to go micro coils use 0.3 kanthal. I'm running this in my protank as we speak, and I like you can take out the cotton wool, dry burn the coil whack a new bit of cotton in and off you go again.
Normal wicks I use anything from 2mm to 3mm and 0.2 kanthal again for the protank

Just did my first microcoil yesterday and I'm very happy with the result. Flavour and throat hit have at least doubled over normal coils with silica, and as gapy360 said you can change the cotton wool very easily between flavour changes. A quick dry burn before you put the cotton in and you're good to go. I'm just using cotton balls from a bag and everything's good. I would say to avoid that burnt rubber taste, make sure you juice up the coil and cotton before you put the pin back on.

YAY! recoiled and rewicked my first 3 heads for kanger protank

my first effort yielded a 2.6 ohms (6 wraps), my second 2.2 ohms (5 wraps) and third 2.0 ohm (4 wraps)

i tried ekowool with my first and cotton padding with my 2nd and 3rd

really pleased. I want to try microcoiling next, any ideas what thinckness coil i should use for a microcoil as i believe they are like 9 wraps

Great news snout. Best wire is normally 0.30 or 0.32 as its thicker.

Hi snout71, congrats on your first coils, it's an amazing feeling vaping on you own coils.
For micro coils you should go for 0.3 kanthal, the bigger gauge means you can get more wraps for the same ohms. Down side is it takes fractionally longer to heat up, it's stiffer to work with so patience is the key, take your time.
