Just back from MP surgery.

Today I went for my second meeting with my Labour MP Anne MacGuire.

This may not be the whole evidence as I suffer concentration/memory problems but I am getting this down as quickly as I can.

She remembered me, and had all my previous email/notes she had taken.

I opened asking her why she had decided medical licensing was her stance.
She explained she had looked at evidence on both sides and had come to the conclusion that there needed to be regulation to ensure the safety etc.
I then talked about our support of regulation and indeed what went through in the EU does have regulations just not medical, and outlined it briefly.
We talked about party line voting and who seemed open to supporting the vapers and who seemed stuck on opposing us.
I talked about how those against us are allowed to use suppositions and statistical manipulation as evidence but our supporters are expected to have scientific facts.

I mentioned vapers were changing voting decisions based on this.
I mentioned the MHRA and our problems with what they have stated and their use of BAT data and about NGO pharma lobbying.
I mentioned the ecig wizard information on costs of licensing.
I mentioned Jack Straw and his talk of writing to Jeremy Hunt, "I'll talk to Jack" - she is a senior Labour member herself.
I was told as far as she is aware I am the only constituent to raise these issues with her.
I mentioned the shop just across the street who is staking his livelihood on e cigs and he would be happy to talk to her and he had indeed emailed her.

Overall she has said she will re-examine the evidence and consider further and get back to me.
There is much more I could have said, but you never remember until you're out again, and indeed I may have missed bits from my account here.

So anyone in Stirling who is a vaper MUST contact Anne MacGuire about vaping.
I am going to a meet in Glasgow and will state this to all vapers.

Good job! And I will certainly be emailing my "new" local MP (now they have finally replaced the one who was arrested for scandals hahaha)

Also hit UKIP HARDCORE about any eCig info as they have a very very very very high chance of winning come 2015.

So regardless if you agree with them or not, get on their case, quiz them on eCigs, record and SAVE the communications.

Because sorry to say, Old Tory Bollox will certainly NOT be in power come voting day, they will ALL be getting their P45's hehe
