After reading through several posts you all seem like a nice friendly bunch so I thought it time to sign up and say hello to all you happy vapoureeees

Ok, just a little about me. I had been a smoker for 40 years till 22 weeks ago when I started vaping an L & B tobacco liquid after ordering a typical ego starter kit online. I soon started using non-tobacco flavours and after 2-3 weeks I realised I didn't like tobacco flavours anymore and prefer more creamy type liquids such as butterscotch, caramel & cream etc.

Long term friends and family are now often heard saying they thought I would be the last person to give up traditional fags, and they are all surprised that I haven't had one single cigarette since I started vaping. No more surprised than I am haha.

A few days ago I ventured over to the Kanger mini protank 2, and wow what a difference in the vaping experience. Now I just need to get one of those twist or spinner batteries so I can control the taste even more.

I love vaping, can't get enough of it and trying out new flavours all the time, problem is I've spent more on equipment and juices than I would have done on fags, but at least I've eradicated all those other nasty toxins and no longer smell like an ashtray

Well, that's my little vaping obituary........so far anyway. Looking forward to being an active member in this forum and chatting with other like-minded vapers and basically having fun here.

Haha, you might not feel so envious about me living here if you saw the prices of all the vaping gear and liquids, they're charging a fortune, and when you consider that a pack of L & B fags works out at around £2.00 a packet it doesn't give too much incentive for us here to actually give up smoking. I end up having to order all my gear online and loads of it at a time coz the postage to get it out here is around £10 a time.

As an example: the Kanger mini pro-tank 2 is 25 euros (approx £22) here compared to between £10 and £14 in the UK. General clearomisers you can get in the UK for around £3-£3.50 cost us 10 euros (approx £8.50) a piece, batteries in the UK costing around £16 are being charged here at 31.50 euros (approx £27.50). Plus liquids are double the price here too.

At least we have the good weather though haha

Just a thought, try this place free worldwide postage and the prices are great. Lots of folks use them,only downside is it takes a couple of weeks normally to get deliverd.

Hi pepperty, thanks for the welcome and yep I've surpassed all my own expectations let alone others, and yep money well spent but I just need to convince my bank manager now

Oh yeah hahahaha, oh my god, I put obituary instead of bibliography - well it's getting late and I've over-vaped by this time of the day/night, that's my excuse anyway.
