I'm really enjoying the Micro coils but to be honest I'd sooner use the 3mil wick doubled over, can't get on with cotton they seems to dry out a lot quicker than my silica wicks. My last setup lasted 4 week without changing anything and it was only because I fancied making another coil I took it out. That is a shame Kev, I use only Bamboo wool or cotton wool now, have not used Silica for several weeks now. I find that the problem with silica is that the coils are not as "Micro" as they are with Bamboo/Cotton wool, consequently you end up with higher ohms which sort of defeats the object. But it is whatever works for you that is important. I am sure there will be another fad along quite soon, and that is what makes vaping interesting. Neil

Well i am now rocking 2 protanks with 1.3ohm nano coils in them, awesome and i have re coiled the igo w with a smaller diameter micro coil and it is something else, coming in at 0.9ohms which is good for my Magneto. The smaller coil heats up so much quicker and gives a stunning vape. Thanks to Greigster for the help.

I've heard them mentioned but not really researched what they are all about and how to go about making them
