Pep, if you don't like the dark colour of the Protank's base, use Steradent tabs to soak it clean and the colour comes off leaving it a steel colour that matches the drip tip. It takes about 4 overnight soaks to get it all off. I discovered that by accident but am glad I did!

Now THAT is fascinating and very helpful to know Saturnalia, I shall see how mini protank looks on my eagerly awaited pearlised itaste and decide what to do, knowing my luck it'll go all piebald and patchy!

It does go patchy & messy for the first couple of soaks, (I was kicking myself that I'd destroyed my lovely new Protank!) but keep going and in about 4 Steradent baths all the colour comes off.

The kwx10 protank is cheaper than kanger and bottom part of tank is same colour as the rest of the tank
