Kayfun v3.1 has arrived

Been vaping the Kayfun v3.1 now for 2hrs using microcoil and cotton and all is can say is OMG OMG OMG, the airflow control does make all the difference imo

Mrs is still bugging me about xmas pressies from kids.. quite fancy a couple of 3.1s but i want to know how they compare taste wise to the herc/term.. feel a shuffle around coming on!!

Using 0.3 Kanthal doing a Microcoil with Cotton and it kicks the crap out of the KFL imo, the Air flow control seems to be the Key,than again i maybe wrong but it works great so far.

I was unimpressed until I adjusted the air flow control.

vapour production is VVV good though, huge clouds of vapour.

taste production is a bit, erm, lacking, maybe that will change, i dunno ?

build quality = 'salright, that plastic tank is a big let down, looks alot cheaper and nastier than the plastic tank on the taifun. overall it seems cheap compared to the docdave, Zen Atty and Taifun, not sure why, also the cap you screw in to put your own drip tip in wont screw all the way down with the washer in, its about 1mm raised above the top and my OCD kicks in.

mines set up with 1.7 ohm .2 kanthal with a 2mm silica wick doubled over its self.

ease of coiling = it is not difficult but you cant split the tank with juice in it, well you can but it will be messy

I think my overall impressions with it so far is "s'alright"

but if I had to keep only two of my current attys and sell the rest, this wouldn't be one of the two that survived the cull.
i'll give it a few days and see how we get on.

Funny you should say that when i set it up i put 24mg 70pg/30vg Tobacco Haze in it....BIG mistake as i have been using for the last 4 weeks 16mg 50pg/50vg and the Tobacco Haze haze knocked my socks off and not very forgiving in the throat department.

Waiting to run my tank down aswell, it's great and all that but going from 16mg mostly VG too 24mg with mostly PG is becoming hard to vape
