Im looking for a decent movie streaming service but not willing to pay the £16/month sky want. It is a fantastic service with on demand and sky go but it's just too much money.
I have had love film in the past and just signed up for a 30 day free trial again. I took one look around, remember that you can't stream to android and cancelled my trial there and then. Im gutted they haven't improved things - especially as my tv is love film compatible.
Netflix is the prefered option of most people I speak to but are there any other options? I can get it on my smart tv but with no app would have to get it through the ps3. Does anyone recommend netflix?

We use Netflix a lot, even though the selection here isn't as good as in the uk. We never get lag issues like we have had with other systems. Sometimes the quality goes off for a min, but that is way better than it just stopping like most streaming services do.
Basically I would recommend it yes (and don't they do a 1 month free trial too?)

Netflix every time .... for "Breaking Bad" alone well worth the £5.99 a month after the free month's trial and can be cancelled or restarted at any time very simply

Netflix on the PS3 is great, I use it with UnblockUS and you can change the Netflix region giving you access to U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Norway and others. UnblockUS costs £3 a month, but well worth it to get the U.S. Netflix. Loads better TV Shows and Movies. You can try UnblockUS free for a week, wouldn't be without these especially for the kids.
EDIT: Forgot to say, UnblockUS can be used on iPad, Android, LG Tv's, Xbox and PC's.

Have just started rewatching series 1 ! You may book a week off work ... it is totally addictive .... I watched the first five series (about 85 1 hour episodes) over a 5 day period last January! I cancelled my subscription over the summer but I am going to restart it soon just to watch the latest 6th series of Breaking Bad!

+1 for XBMC, can take a bit of setting up but is excellent.
If you have a an android phone and an unlimited data plan or Wi-Fi try Videomix Pro available through Aptoide, streams films and TV to your android device, Google aptoide apk.

Not found one have always used XBMC, but I tend to connect my phone to the TV rather than watch on the PC.
