OK I have been doing just one flavour mixes. I now want to try two flavour. Licorice and black current. There from LT and individual both are recommended to mix around 5 to 8 percent. So when mixing do I use the same percentage or split it in half. Hope I've not confused people but will answer any help Thanks

Barry use 5-8 of each flavour. Are you using a mixing calculator?

As with all these things, 'best' is a personal preference. PG gives more throat hit but less vapour. VG give less throat hit but more vapour, and is also a bit sweeter. The beauty of DIY is that you can play around with it in small mixes until you find what tastes best for you.

with most dual mixs, i sniff the flavour lol which ever is the strongest i just divide of Concerntrate to 30 /70.if the stronger one does not pull through just add a few more drops, golden rule you can make it weak and improve it,make it to strong 2 options bin it or try to improve it but have to calculate adding more nic to keep strength of mg

Hi bazzerOne solution would be to make them as two seperate mixes then combine in small quantities until you have a ratio you like and in turn translate that to a standalone recipe. One tip i use if i want to combine two standalones is to use two clearomisers filled with each of the liquids and see how they go testing them at the same time (reducing/increasing the voltage/wattage on one or other gives an idea of which works as the dominant flavour then use that as a benchmark To summarise: 1)make one batch of liquorice and one batch of blackcurrant 2)fill two cartomisers with each of the liquids 3)vape test both at the same time at say both 7 watts to get an idea of 50/50(dont test in public you will look silly with two ecigs in your mouth together 4)vary the voltage/wattage on them until you find a flavour that hits the spot 5)Next step is to combine the liquids in small batches until you get a liquid that hits the target from previous step 6)you should now have an idea of the ratios for the final mix warning : I would nt do this with more than say three clearos at once as you ll look fecking silly with eight clearos in your mouth Worth doing as you get some pleasant results from unlikely combinations

bazzer343 I was wondering something along the same lines as I'm still to venture into mixing my own juices. I've sort of got it in my head to start my flavouring at 10% but if I want to mix two is it 5% + 5% that would make sense to me or 7+3% depending if you want one flavour to be more prominent for example. @oneday I'm not even a noob at mixing I've never attempted it so I am just rying to pick brains here. Bazzer is using flavouring that recommend upto 8%, you say use that amount of each flavour, making his liquid 16% flavouring. What happens for more complex recipes that can require say 5 flavours. I don't imagine may recipes would require that but would that mean using upto 8% of each flavouring making the liquid possibly 40% flavour concentrate ?

Flavourart and Inawera flavors are very potent so can compensate for low percent usuage of flavors, plus most mixes that require five flavors chances are the last 2-3 flavors would only need 1-3%...i.e Sweetener etc

I have mixed five flavour combos that added up to 33% .... there is no problem with this as long as your nic content is as required and you can get a suitable PG/VG balance ... for example 33% PG flavour + 25% PG nic (72mg down to 18mg) + 42% VG will give a 58/42 PG/VG mix at 18mg.
