brain meltdown!

Hi all - trying to get my brain around a first mix but the pg/vg coupled with nic base options is confusing as hell.

If im trying to make 100 ml of 50/50 vanilla custard at 10mg strength, which nic base would be best?

Im assuming if I get vg base, pg nic + pg flavours should get me around the 50/50 mark. Is that anywhere near right?

There's more variables to consider before answering your question then.
What strength nic base?
What percentage of flavours?

Yeah it does! Thats great - thanks guys. So I need:

Vg nic base (54) @19%

Vg base @ 31%

Pg base @ 30%

Flavour @ 20%

Sounds simple enough!

Can anyone recommend the cheapest place to get all this from here in the UK?

Sorry for all the questions but is pharma grade higher than food grade? I assume it is but a site I was on just said their base was pharma/food grade. Surely can't be both can it?

This PG is what I use & Glycerol (VG) from Boots.
According to them, pharma is better than food grade.

You may want to consider PG nic base, as VG is slightly cheaper & easier to get hold of

The only thing with PG nic is that you won't be able to achieve a 50/50 ratio

With the numbers crin wants, no matter VG or PG base nic, he'll still need to add PG & VG.

Sorry, I should have said wont always be able to achieve. I mix at 18mg and that gives negative PG numbers
