100 ml of 50/50 vanilla custard seems a lot for a first mix better to make smaller quantities first

OneDay - least that means I'm not having a brain meltdown as per title. Suppose I don't really think about it, as I tend to mix at 80/20, so when using PG base, I just need 1/5 of the total as VG. Also applied exactly the same when using 75mg VG base & mixing at 15%. Don't tend to use VG base at the mo, as I currently mix @ 12%. Will probably leave it in freezer until I mix @ 7.5%, just to ease the calculations. Oh & crin766 - is your phone android? POTV calculator is OK - think I got it free from Google store

Which tends to end in tears when you've not tried a recipe or mixing at first.

crin766This PG is what I use & Glycerol (VG) from Boots. According to them, pharma is better than food grade. You may want to consider PG nic base, as VG is slightly cheaper & easier to get hold of I was going to get pg but 28 were out of stock. Ordered everything last night with some eggnog for a christmas vc blend *excited smiley*

100 ml of 50/50 vanilla custard seems a lot for a first mix better to make smaller quantities first The actual plan was to make 300ml straight off and I'll still have 40ml of nic base for more custard when I vape/drink/bathe all that. But as I said above I'll try to resist and make up a few samples first!

I think many of us fell into the trap of making up large volumes in the beginning Crin. It doesn't tend to make for successful mixing, even now I only make up 30ml max of tried and tested recipes. It's so much easier ( and can be less wasteful ) to tinker with 10ml if it's not immediately to your tastes.

crin766 - I still mix 10ml each of greendollar, oneday, perpys and my own (changing) custards, as I still cant decide which one I prefer. If I'd mixed a big lot of my own blend to start, I think it would have gone down the drain, or still be steeping now (or for even better value nic-base get your name on this list for 500g or a kg )

Ok so all my equipment and ingredients have arrived and I've decided my first attempt will look like this;
10ml of 50/50 @10mg
Vg nic 54 19%
Vg 31%
Pg 19%
Vanilla custard 20%
Vanilla delux 5%
Dulce de luche 5%
Em 1%
How does that look to the trained eye?

I'd probably have gone: 20% VC 3% FVD 3% D de L 1% Sweetener ( Sucralose based ) 1% Vanillin But you don't know until you try Crin.
