I wonder if anyone can help explain what's happening.
One of the CE4 Clearomisers I'm using seems to overrun and continues to fizz for two or three seconds after I release the button. I assume its nothing more than the coil cooling down slower than the other CE4 I have but I wonder if this is a sign that maybe something isn't quite right. I have noticed that this one doesn't produce as much vape as the other.
Any ideas ?

What are you using it on? Some mods that have "Pulse Code Modulation" can do that, the Smoktech SID is particularly prone to it. More information is needed on this. Jag. (Slow down, your moving way too fast.)

I had a long and involved relationship with CE4s. If you learn all their little quirks (of which there are many) and take very good care of them they can be a good vape. Then I discovered the iClear16s which have a lot fewer quirks and are maintained with a minimum of hassle and are far more consistently reliable. My solution to my CE4s was ultimately the bin

It happens on either of the EGO T 650mAh batteries.
I should add that I've washed it out and changed to a different juice too.

You can persevere with it by taking your finger off the button early, or consign it to the trash. Wish there was something else I could offer, but a new head/coil would be the only cure. Ce4's can be very frustrating sometimes. Jag. (Tends not to touch them anymore ....)

Thanks for the help dragon and Jaguar7777 I'll persevere until it dies of natural causes and resolve myself to staying away from any more Ce4's.

WotNoName, sadly if you want to stick with your battery the CE4 is the happy medium for you. Iclears16 ect are dual coil and would give a better performance, however IMO deserve to be used on a better power source. You could always get a rebuildable CE4+, (you can recoil/ rewick heads to your own specs.) just as inexpensive as a norm cleario.

My guess would either be some water still in the wick getting burnt off or the coil is gunked up and that is what is sizziling after you let go of the button. After you washed it did you do a dry burn? Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

I think I had a premonition that these things wouldn't last as I got a pair of KangerTech Mini T3S on Monday, I just hate the idea of giving up on the CE4's less than a week after I brought them. Roscopecotrain I agree that its likely gunked up as it was doing it before I washed it out.

I only lasted a week on them too, all I could taste was plastic burning so raced to try new vape gear before I ended up back on ciggies. money well spent!
it's all trial and error and at least it's still cheaper than smoking.... if you resist the lure of "shineys"

WotNoNameWhat juice are you putting through them? if it's a heavy sweetened one, they will gunk up your coils no time at all.

I can dimly remember back in the days when I used 'disposable' CE4s that they would only last about a week to 10 days. At the time I despaired that this vaping business was going to cost just as much as my smoking did. I then moved on to Vivi Novas (does anyone still use these babies!?) and have now settled with Protanks which I eke out by recoiling the heads myself. I still use a CE4+ rebuildable which is dedicated to menthol flavours, and I still have a couple of Novas and a Mini Nova too - perhaps I ought to get these out of my box, pop in a new atty head and see how they compare with the PT! Once you have bought the right gear, and you are happy with the end product (i.e. the vapour, taste and throat hit), stay where you are - there is always the lure of a new atomiser which promises to better the one you are currently using. RESIST!!
