Had my first 'night on the town' the night before last and came home having learnt a few lessons. I took a 510 Titan Tank with 2 spare batteries, one 340mAh and one 220, and 3 filled tanks as well as a PCC to charge the 220 battery back up as well as back up kit in the form of my Riva 1100. The idea with the Titan is to have something a little more portable and pocketable to use when out and hopefully be a little more discreet. I think it fulfilled this role although So some things I learnt: 1. It's great sitting having a drink and vaping, just as good if not better than smoking. 2. I haven't yet been brave enough to ask if I can vape indoors yet but when it's sunny and your mates are outside smoking you don't want to be indoors anyway. 3. I vaped a lot more than I would have smoked, basically I chain vaped! 4. People are quite curious and I got a few questions about what the hell I was 'puffing' on, particularly when I pulled the Riva out. 5. Tanks eat juice worse than a Hummer eats gas! 6. A PCC is absolutely vital but they only holds the 220 batteries and it takes time to recharge ... I think another 220 would be useful to be honest. 7. The 510 Titan is good but not great, you have to work a lot harder to get a good hit from it and to get anything even approaching the taste I get from the Riva, it's perfectly adequate for a few hours at the pub though. However a mate tried both and prefered the Titan because he found the Riva gave "too much" taste! 8. I needed my backup (Riva) so next time if just relying on the Titan I'd have to take more filled carts or I need to try something longer lasting like a cartomiser, I have to say I'm not overly impressed with the Tank on the Titan ... 9. You can't drip very well when you're very drunk and frankly you make an ass of yourself trying! 10. Don't sit on your e-ciggy case ... and certainly don't fall on it ... nuff said lol! 11. Hangovers (at least as I recall) are much worse if you've spent the evening smoking analogues! I hasten to add I'm more of a 1 or 2 pints social drinker rather than a heavy session drinker and didn't go out intending to drink loads but it was one of those evenings when one drink turned into 5 and 5 turned into ... well you know. Anyway it was interesting trying out the kit in these circumstances and I've certainly learnt a few things form the experience! Thanks for reading

I've noticed I've been chain vaping a little, even without a drink A ciggy takes me about 7 mins from start to finish, and you notice it's finished by the fact theres not any left lol but I seem to just carry on vaping then realise 20 mins has passed, then 10 mins later I fancy another go. Maybe its still the novelty factor

When I started it was quite a dramatic cut, over half of my 25-30. So I was at about 10 the first day. Since then it seems to of come down by 1 a day. yesterday I only had 3 analogue, and so far today just the 1.

Yeah Crissie, it was good although I have to admit I drunk rather more than I ought to and vaped so much I didn't have a single puff yesterday! Jemima, I reckon I'm vaping more than I used to smoke, that's the danger when the guilt and health worries are removed I guess ... I'm not complaining though!

Brill Rog, sounds as though you had a great night I tend to vape indoors although I always ask first, funny thing is most places are clueless! I end up explaining what it is and what it gives out, they normally say 'fine' Jemima, I have been vaping for over a year now and still vape far more than I smoked even though some days I was smoking 40 roll ups a day. I know for me that I love the feel of the vapour in my mouth and that's why I vape constantly. I'm also still in a bit of shock that I no longer crave those disgustingly horrible ciggies LOL! The mad thing is that I can go on a 5 hour flight now and not need to smoke, before I would have 2 nicotine patches, have smoked about 10 ciggies before going into the departure lounge and drank several large vodkas and downed a sleeping pill. I can happily fly now without the need for alcohol and I don't need to vape on the flight, I may just nip in the loo and have a couple of puffs if I feel like it.
