..and for the life of me, I don't know what it is and why I have it. It looks exactly like a 510 attie except for the fact that the bit opposite the 'screw in' part is sealed. I must have bought it for some reason. Anyone have any idea as to why? Not that I need a reason to buy stupid stuff. I have a whole house-full of those 'seemed like a good idea at the time' things. Could it be a 510 cartomiser? Though if it was, I wouldn't have thought the other end would be completely sealed.

Bit like a quiz really!! Could it possibly be a 510 to 901 or vice versa converter? I've never seen a cartomizer so can't comment on that one. I came across a 'thing' the other day and it was ages before I worked out that it was the converter thingy for the Tornado charger that I don't actually need. Fox

So my thing looks exactly like the atomiser but the female end is sealed and the only thing that seems to screw in there is another atomiser or a 510 battery... I can't imagine that there would be such a thing as a 510/510 adapter but that's the only thing I can think of.. Does that give anyone any more ideas? Very pretty picture Chrissie. Lynda

Chrissie, Would that I knew how.. So it looks exactly like a 510 attie, same size etc but the end where you would expect to see the attomiser is sealed and has a a female thread. I've looked on the web sites where I might have bought it, OKsmokey, Libertyflights and e-cigs, and can't see anything like it. My guess is that it is some kind of battery charging adapter but I can't imagine why I would have needed one. Shall I pop it in the post to you for an expert opinion? It could be that my stash of bits and pieces is interbreeding...I prefer that theory to the alternative which is that I am losing my mind/memory!! Lynda

Lynda, does it look like this? (photo shows both ends) If so it's a charging adapter for a 901 manual battery.

That's really close, except that the female end is missing the little hole that is pictured.. The problem is that it doesn't dit a 901 battery!!. Sigh... Lynda

Lynda, you are more than welcome to send it to me, but not sure i would be able to identify what you have if you did so On the other hand, if you (or anyone else) would like either myself or others to take you through a step by step way to post pics, just shout. (Too tired to do it tonight though).

Here's a guide If it's superfluous, no harm done Take your photo and save it onto your hard drive. Best to make a separate folder for photos and name them appropriately as you save them. Open an account with Photobucket.com (free). Left-click "Upload Images and Videos" and your hard drive will appear in a box, just like when you go to save something. Navigate to your picture and double-click on the name, Photobucket will upload it. When your pic is on PB, hover your mouse over it and a box will appear with links - slide down (or up, depending where the box is) to "IMG Code" - left-click those words and the link beside will highlight, right-click on the highlight, select Copy, come to your post here and Paste. There are different ways of doing it, but that would get you where you want to go You can keep all your pics on PB (so if your PC borks you haven't lost them like what I did ) and organise them into albums. I haven't explored the possibilities of Photobucket scylla

Thanks Scylla.. My biggest problem at the moment is that I can't find the thingie that connects my camera to the computer! I suspect it's trasmogrified into that peculiar e-cig bit that I am trying to identify. I have resolved to rip my house apart tomorrow and search for missing things, like camera connection, car keys (still missing after nearly 7 week!) and maybe I'll also stumble across my mind. I'm sure that must be here somewhere', otherwise I've lost that too.. Lynda

If you camera memory is an SD card (maybe Compact Flash for an older camera), and you have a card reader in your PC, you don't need to connect the camera, you can remove the card from the camera and pop it in the reader, just like reading off a USB stick That too could be useless scylla
