If you do go for a Vamo striker42, get the latest version with the removable top cap. Some clearos don't work on the older versions without an adapter.

I'd start the MVP off at 3.3 volts and try it, then increase the voltage up by 0.1v increments until the Iclear starts to taste burnt, then just drop it back to where it vapes OK without the burning taste. I reckon you'll find 3.7 to 3.9 volts is where you find it vapes best.

Brilliant info folks. Looking like I will opt for the Vamo V5. My epack are selling the complete kit including batteries and charger for £49:99 which seems a good buy. Next question, sorry to be a pain but I want to get this set up right. Does anyone know the quality of the batteries/charger in this kit ? I would rather buy the set up individually even if it means spending an extra few pounds to get decent batteries /charger rather than purchase this complete kit and find out the batteries/charger were poor quality or unsafe. Any info on battery/charger manufacturer would be most helpful.

Striker if this is your kit myepack.co.uk/mods/vamo-v5-full-kit-ss.html i would be tempted to buy just the vamo, the batteries wont be great plus you should never stack 2 18350 batteries so you would still need to buy 18650 batteries to use it in big mode.

Charger i would go for the nitecore i2 (2 slot) or the nitecore i4 (4 slot) Super-Shiny knows a cheap place to get these but plenty on amazon. Batteries i would get straight from torchy here www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Multipurpose-Batteries-Power-/48446/m.html?_ssn=big_f_d_d just stay away from anything that has the word fire in its name. I see he has some xtar chargers on there which are great quality.

Just noticed myepack does nitecore chargers and efest batteries which are what i use. myepack.co.uk/batteries.html so you could make your own kit up from them. Just grab a couple of efest 18650 batteries and 1 efest 18350 battery and see how you get on. Efest are good to go in mech mods as well if you end up going down that route as they are safe chemistry.
