Hi effington thanks for the advise !! Now I'm not sure about it now lol because I wouldn't like the metal taste either !! Any you could recommend would like a short one ... I am so fussy ???? Which version of the mini protank did you get as the latest mini you can change the drip tip to any 510 drip tip. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

I got the mini protank 2 - NOT the one with the changeable tip. Will have a look at those plastic thingies though thanks I've gone back to the Iclear 16's which I love a lot but which whizz through the juice big style!

Vapor-z also do plastic drip tips so if you were ordering a Davide mini or two you could get a couple of drip tips from there to save postage getting them from somewhere else, the drip tips are cheaper from LTecigs but you would then have postage on them.

I actually prefer the steel/metal whatever drip tip of my mini protank to the plastic type ones. Each to their own eh

just a quick question, seeing as there's a mini protank thread started already in this forum, I've a mini protank, been using it a few weeks (and I love it) I keep noticing that the bottom part by battery gets really hot ..when I'm vaping on it. Is it because I'm hammering in as I do tend to draw heavily on it --over 6-8 seconds, so what I'm asking is - is this normal? or am I damaging the coil...
BTW its not dependent on what settings I use, wattage wise on my itaste vv. Setting says A2.9 (its a 2.2 coil) used 10 days now. I just wondered if it normal for the dark silver part of tank to get bloody hot!

Hi Just to add another side (THE other side I suppose!) I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and it really didn't suit me at all. No question it was a quality piece of kit but I HATED the metal mouthpiece - clacked against my teeth and the vape felt very different - quite cold. Just didn't suit me at all and it's consigned to a little box somewhere. In fact - do you want it? I shan't be using it again I'm sure of that The cool vape is one of the things I like about it! Very refreshing with mint flavour. Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using proboards

Mine can get really hot sometimes and it doesn't seem to do them any long term harm.

i like the metal - love the sort of fizz I get when it's been sitting in the cold car all day
can't do with the plastic on my evods now
mini is better than the bigger protank imo
