bottom coil leakage overnight ...

so i'm happily vaping on my puritank, evod, protank or tumblr all day with no problems. the next morning, its gurgling and spitting and sounds very wet.
should i be taking it off the battery if not in use overnight?
when i change the tank, its back to working nicely

no keep it upright.
the other night it was puritank on a vamo
last night was tumblr on a spinner

could it be something with the liquid getting cold and density of moisture or something.... i'm talking off the top of my head and dont really know what i am on about ...

It's just where the wick has been holding juice over night and built up a bit, few puffs to dry it out should sort it.

No ... I have heard of this. I suspect that whilst standing the wick is soaking up too much juice. Apart from swabbing out the central tube and cleaning out the battery terminal I'm not sure there is a lot else you can do, except perhaps just fill with what you know you will use up during the day.

thank god for that! thought it was the tanks. no more wasting juice now. i was actually washing it all out and filling up a clean one.

Bottom coils can be removed from the mod and stored upside down. Problem solved

ditto, it doesn't feel right to me:  vaping without cracks and pops!! 
Glad you got to bottom of issue, I'll file info away in case it happens to me sometime. The removing head, and leaving upside down seems logical now (good job I've a lipstick stand for all my vape bits)

I take my BCCs of the mod and leave them upside down overnight ... it lets any condensation build up run out from the drip tip and prevents the wick becoming over wet with eliquid.

there was me thinking i was an expert now!
i shall certainly do this tonight and report tomorrow
must say, the puritank is vaping like a good un. happy days!

bit gutted i didnt ask sooner, wasted a few mls of juice


detached him last night, filled him up last night, put him on his drip tip end and no gurgling this morning ! very pleased
