Piccy of what it has to go on: Use the thinnest non resistance wire you have, silver is good as it's soft. Wrapped a couple of times around the atty threads. Sent from my Nexus 4 using proboards

presuming the thread needs to be able to unscrew again , then the only way is to tighten it up like you would do putting a top back on a bottle etc. but I suspect your up to something

If it is only a slight wobble, you could try smearing the switch threads and/or the tube threads lightly with copper grease which is conductive

There is only one way I can think of , its a little brutal and may not suit your ocd and that would be to slightly damage the last two threads at the bottom of the bottom cap/ switch and the same with the last two top threads inside the tube , if you get my drift

I read on another forum that there is a conductive form of ptfe but can't find any info on it, what about a small strip of aluminium foil?

What about a thin layer of tin solder on the threads?

A thin bit of put fe just on a couple of turns of the thread will probably hold It in place and still give you connection, but the voltage drop might be high. If you need more tape to hold it then the threads are too mismatched to use them Together without some serious work, such as a helicoil insert.

Great news mate ... has it had any adverse effect on voltage drop? .... probably not as the threads are still in full contact.
