Well it arrived yesterday after the longest FT wait I have ever had to endure.

KF 3.1 clone.

Was it worth it?

You bet it was!

Simply blown away. Far better than I expected. The quality is better than anything I have seen previously from FT. Threading, build quality, vape, I find it hard to knock it in any way. It even filled through the fill hole first time and after 24 hours no leaks.

Cotton wool wick at 1.8ohms and cant tell the difference in vape to my KFL.

If I'm being ultra picky the air flow adjuster screw is slightly loose, but a tiny bit of plumbers PTFE tape cured this.

For the money the Rocket is good, very good.
For the money the Fasttech KF 3.1 isn't good, It's outstanding!

I've read about the centre post being chrome/brass and not to screw it too tightly and the air adjust screw sometimes failing into the body if screwed too much, so a heads up I guess for those who are getting one.

How'd you find the airflow screw? Any dry hits?

The airflow screw is typically a loose fit. I put a tiny bit of PTFE tape round it and now it seems fine.
I don't see how the airflow adjuster could fall into the body, it seems to come up against a stop.
I have played with the airflow and the adjuster works perfectly. I like it loose so it's just opened up fully.

No dry hits and I'm currently running below the sight tube.

I read a review somewhere (?) that warned that if the air flow screw is screwed in too far, it can make contact with the 510 pin and cause a short... I don't if this is possible or not but it might be worth bearing in mind.

That was of a different clone (without logo ) that was reviewed before even fasttech had theirs in stock let alone delivered them

I'm sure you are right mate   .... I read and watch reviews all the time, and just vaguely remember reading or watching a review where this was mentioned in connection with the Kayfun ...  I can't even recollect whether it was a clone or original that he was talking about but thought it was worth mentioning.
