It's the first 14500 mod i've used and they're tiny..

I Platinum plated the Spheroid but if I'm honest I cannot really tell much difference from polished SS.. lol

No they are still sticking with the thumb screws as they still believe they are best - you have to buy the other type separately. I'm certainly going to be upgrading mine though

So far as planting seeds go Super-Shiny I learnt all I know from Perpetua

You won't regret it though I mainly use mine on my Provari as they just seem to go together nicely. Mind you I've recently acquired a 16mm top cap for the Nemesis, so that will go well also.

dave so far i am looking for a cheap 14500 mod, was looking at the Super T precise but the firing button according to some reviews cannot take the weight of a atty so you have to use the locking ring, also looked at the Delaine but not sure on it

Don't like box mods @johanino i want something slim along the lines of a spinner but 17mm wide for the Spheroid, i hate anything that looks like a box...i.e MVP's

It looks quite good and is a nice snug fit with no gap! It just replaces the air control ring, so if that is the same on the clone I guess it would fit. I need to put my brushed tube on the Spheroid for the best effect though, will try that when I next fill up. You get variable air control with this combination as well which is a bonus.

If you want a 14500 to go with it, personally I like the old style Picollo:


Again - the brushed version would look better, but I didn't have one when I took that shot
