Found a Spanish forum, seems like there may be only one forum and someone put a thread up on there around 4 o'clock this morning with the link to the voting page. Only 3 members so far have posted in that thread and voted 'No'. Mind you, if Spain is anything like the Canaries, then a Sunday is family day where the whole family through the generations spend the day together and won't particularly be online to read forums etc. So, maybe there will be more Spanish voters via that thread from tomorrow, or maybe this evening.

I could only find that one forum, however there does appear to be over 13,000 members signed up, which is more than our forum has got.

Also there appears to be some sort of an e-cig association they have either already formed or are in the process of forming. There was god knows how many pages to that thread (over 100) and I just could not go through it all - gee I wouldn't even go through that amount of pages in English let alone flippin Spanish

Aha, that's the problem with using online translators, they don't always give you the correct translation, however they can give you the gyst of things but don't take everything too literally.

I know someone over here who had an email in from their internet provider (in Spanish), they put it through an online translator and assumed it was just a 'nothing' email and dumped it in the trash. Around 10 days later their internet connection was cut off  They should have replied to the email in order to keep their connection up and running, the email told them to reply. It took them several weeks to get it all sorted out and get back online

Ok, I went on to a current thread in the Spanish forum (not so many pages) and it looks like they are still in the process of forming this association.

They are currently voting on a name for it with most of the votes so far going to these names:

Asociacion nacional española de vapeadores = ANESVAP - 57.50% votes

Asociacion de vapeadores España = ASVAPE - 21.25% votes

There are 5 other names to choose from but they are lagging well behind with votes so it looks like (at the moment) that it's between those 2 names above.

Not much help to us if the association is not yet formed, however it could be useful information to have later

In another thread they appeared to be discussing funds for the new association, I suppose 'how to get funds in', I didn't read the thread just saw the first few posts on that.

Sooooo, looks like the Spanish are getting their act together, and will be fighting any legislation - yay
