Increasing nic content.

I'm wanting to increase the nicotine content of some of my liquid. The eliquid is 18mg and I'm wanting to take it to 24mg, my nic base is 54mg.

Am I right in thinking I'll get (roughly) the desired effect if I use 8 parts eliquid to 2 parts nic base?

my math - 
18(mg) x 8(parts) = 144

54(mg) x 2(parts) = 108

144 + 108 = 248

compared to ...

24(mg) x 10(parts) = 240

Seems to make it closer to 25mg but close enough. Can someone confirm I'm thinking straightly this morning please? Don't wanna OD

Yes, your calculation is correct but bear in mind that your flavour will become slightly diluted and your PG/VG ratio will be altered
