Pffft ... so says the man who nearly died by inhaling a stray bastos fibre ... I'm taking no chances It's all part of the fun saying that though i did notice that Bastos wick has a lot of glass particles in it compared to Silica for me I still have my safety gear from my 3d glass design degree, i should give it to you

@freefromsmoking just aswell there are so many variations to building the Iatty, i myself if i wanted to stick too the Bastos wick 2mm method would be inclined to use 2mm Silica wick with maybe 1-2 strands of extra Silica with the 2 x Silica to make up the difference of the extra thickness of Bastos

Earlier this evening I found that I was beginning to get the ocassional dry hit with the double 2mm silica loop wick so I rewicked it with 3 x 2mm silica strands .... the top two cut off tight to the ceramic cup (3 x 2mm inside the coil) and only one each side going down the juice channels and it is vaping great. I think that the 2 x 2mm loop was a little too thick for the juice channels. .... The experiment continues and I will NOT be defeated! ... If I can master the iAtty, the Kayfun, Ithaka and Taifun will be a breeze!

I avoid tank cracking juices like the plague ... if a juice can do that to polycarbonate what is it doing to your lungs? You have seen what a glass of coke does to a 2p right?

I wouldn't drink that muck if you paid me to ... my sister-in-law gave her teeth in service to the cola gods and she still drinks 2 litres of the crap every day
