Tanks cracking

Hey guys

All is going well in my vaping journey but i have just noticed that another evod has cracked. I had a crack in a previous one which i assumed was a fault in the evod but tonight i have just noticed one of my current evods has a crack which it didnt have a week ago. Currently in the tank is celtic vapours apple and pear. Can they crack after being in the tank for 2 weeks? The previous tank also had the apple and pear in it. They have not been dropped either.

I always thought it was more citrus flavours that did this kind of damage, 2 evods damaged in less than a month  

I was planning on ordering another mini protank soon anyways but still doesnt take away from how frustrating it is having them break after only a short amount of use.

Could be a very slow cracking liquid and happens over time, give the vendor an e-mail and ask if they have had similar problems.

I wouldn't have thought apple and pear would be a tank cracking juice?, however if you have problems, it could be or it could be the evod itself, where did you get the evods from?
My experience with tank crackers is that it happens immediately, in an evod this means the drip tip crumbles and comes apart from the body.

Ive sent them an email and hopefully will hear back in the next few days. Are there any other options of clearomisers that will not crack with these kind of liquids? I love my mini protank but they are quite expensive compared to the evods.

Fasttech is a no go right now, im still awaiting for my package from 6 weeks ago!

I have had some juices that it happens slowly over time, i can only presume they are not so acidic and slowly kill.

They were bought from fasttech. There was no crack before i used this liquid, no issues with leaking with other flavours before the apple and pear, They have been stored safely in an ego carry case.

Just had a look at the broken tank with a torch, cracked all round the inside but only noticeable a small amount at the window bit. I dont think it can be fixed with tape

I have used FT evods, and not had one crack.
I've had an English one crack but the drip tip fell off in front of me immediately.
We pay our money we take our chance.
Put it down to experience, it will not be the first or last problem you encounter.
A mini protank costs a little more yes, but accepts all juices, it's your choice at the end of the day

Hopefully i will get my refund from FT soon, £30 order of vaping supplies hasnt turned up. So once i get the money back from that i will have money to spend on some more vaping gear.

I avoid tank cracking juices like the plague ... if a juice can do that to polycarbonate what is it doing to your lungs?

Clean them

On a serious note all things react in different ways, some will harm plastic or other things and some it won't have any effect at all.

It's all part of the fun saying that though i did notice that Bastos wick has a lot of glass particles in it compared to Silica for me
