I mixed my first wee bottle this morning. Super-Shiny custard recipe is steeping away as we speak. Just waiting on the boatload of bottles ordered from ebay to arrive so other stuff can be mixed. They started out in Hong Kong. It could be a while...

Pep your nic base should be fine as it is. It's only bigger quantities that really need it I think.

sat here browsing liberty flights (because of that damned discount code! ) and trying to be very very sensible....

I dont have much vaping flavour experience, just plowed through joosejuice samplers. Ive ordered 5 of his concentrates in the flavours I've liked, black & gold and caramel (both tobacco although one tastes of honey, other of caramel!) plus vanilla, toffee and apple pie. So as you can see, I'm not exactly adventurous TBH I find the apple pie a bit sickly if I go at it all day, but for occasional use its my favourite ( I know, I'm being finicky) but just laying down my experience so far before I ask advice

In my basket I'm 100% up for:

Basics
TPA Sweetener (as a basic staple, I might need it, although probably wont with starter 1 mix flavours)
MTS Vape Wizard (again, for future if I'm popping together a mix - maybe...one day )

Flavours
Butterscootch, so think F'art could be my best bet?
Cookie (thought it might be a better biscuity 1 flavour ..as many others are used for bases and i'm not yet planning combo mixing)
Caramel - the perfumers apprentice? because I generally like caramel flavours
English Toffee - TPA again, I seem to like vaping toffee
French vanilla deluxe - TPA I find vanilla a good plain all day vape, it doesnt offend my tastebuds!

Now I really feel boring! I thought about attempting some fruits, I've tries joosejuice strawberry and cream and it was bland but pleasant so was considering Capella strawberries & cream .... but what I'd like is to be wildly impressed with fruit flavour. I don't like any of JJ's fruits... surely there must be plenty of nice fruits around? I mean I like fruit in everything else, drinking/eating it etc

SO, as I only have rest of day to place a discounted order on liberty flights <<HELP!>>

I had delivery on Friday of Nic Base, PG, 5 flavours, syringes and bottles...  My VG and the rest of my flavours haven't yet arrived, so being my impatient self, I went to the chemist yesterday morning and picked up a small bottle of VG and some menthol crystals.

So yesterday, I made up a 10ml bottle of menthol concentrate, then mixed 5ml of FA Black Cherry and 5ml Menthol  

Will have a sneaky test of the menthol later when my nephews have gone home and I have some peace and quiet...

Got lots of recipe ideas.. but first proper recipe will be either (or both) Perpetua's or Super-Shiny's VC

ohhh well done lairey straight in there!
I don't mind a wee bit of menthol, but I cant vape it for any length of time. I have some ready made, its a great palate refresher but not an all day vape for me>?

Same here Pep, but apart from the Black Cherry, the only other flavours that have arrived are more accompaniment flavours and I'm too bloody impatient to wait! lol

Planning to try mixing the menthol with the BC when the BC is steeped

I'm just hopeless making my mind up about flavours I'm looking for one shot mixers really? I'm sure theres loads of wonderful flavours out there I will love--when I find it!

Get yourself some of the T-Juice 10ml samples...  I know you said you weren't keen on AD, me neither, but I love Red Astaire and Green Steam so far, the jury's still out on Forest Affair, and a few more on their way.  Then if you do like, you can get the concentrates and mix them a bit weaker if they pre-mixed are too strong for you

I am planning to test out TJuice, it'll have to be after xmas, I might then order the 1ml sample pack from rainbow smoke? - then I can work out from them which concentrates from the range I will like. I'd best not go buying a bunch of flavours on the off-chance I'll like ???

That's where I got my first sample of Red Astaire from - since bought 2 30ml bottles and now got the concentrate on order!  Shame I didn't do the same with Affro Dizziac, now got 10ml of that and I don't like it! lol

100ml amber glass bottles arrived today, and 9 of them are safely ensconced in the freezer full of nic base! Meanwhile, my MixingStation setup is complete, thanks to this nifty wee box (4 quid from Maplins) :



Bought juices are to the rear, next to them nic base - pg - vg, a set of gloves for handling; and to the front, from left, 10ml/5ml/2ml/1ml syringes, blunt needles, a few attys ready for fillup duty and then a load of 10 ml bottles. Filled ones are towards the front (of course!), lots of concentrates at the back, and empty bottles to the right.

The white box next to it contains another 10ml/5ml/2ml/1ml syringe, being the 'active duty' set for use first. The set in the plastic container are reserve duty, except the 1ML syringe that I use to fill attys. Behind it is an eGo case, containing atty bits and bobs, kanthal wire, and a lighter-powered blowtorch for fashioning wicks.

Incidentally the large bottle to the right, is 250ML (30% full) of RY4 liquid bought on special offer from Safercigs, one of their monthly specials, well worth it too!
