Credit where credit's due - want to give a big thumbs up to this crowd! I ordered one of those microsticks at the end of 2014/start of 2015 that had the coating problem for a nice chunk more than what they sell for now. As many of ye know, that was also around the time of our big adventure. During our transition from the UK to the US, my microstick was put on the back burner. After trying the numerous fixes mentioned in the forum and failing to get it to work properly, I sent an email to the company many months ago. Their reply was to send it back to them for repair. Fair enough. Until I discovered what the cost of insured postage would be. It went on the back burner again until recently. I'd a look on their site the other day, reluctantly planning to just buy a replacement base for my microstick and discovered an extension part is only $10! Significantly less than the cost of postage sending my entire mod back. Except I didn't want an extension...I just wanted this lovely wee mod to work. Sent them another email yesterday saying just that and they've since replied. They're sending me a replacement microstick!!! Fair play guys. Seriously, I couldn't be happier and with that kind of customer service and as a result, I'll be buying another of their newer mods now. Sooooooooooooo, knowing I like 'em small, what should I buy? Thinking of pulling the trigger on the XvoStick light but not up to date on reviews around the place. Also, what tank works with it? I've got a spare spheroid gathering dust, but is it the right size?

My husband was a scrooge when we lived in the UK. He was against the lot, until I won a nice chunk on a horse bet and decided I was spending the winnings on a wee tree and a few decorations. We brought it with us when we moved to the US and I put the small tree up last week. Thought we were done at that. NOT! Two trees up now and half of the outdoor lights are done...so far. Won't be complete until next week-end because we're mostly starting from scratch and Jack didn't know what we'd need. Think he's been converted or gone mad. Maybe both, but he's been on the roof hanging stuff today and my work is done...

Which black current is best for this? Perfumer's apprentice doesn't seem to be sold on the site I'm at right now, but will hunt it out if that's the one to go with. Was shocked when I discovered I was bored with RA, despite a six month break from it. Wouldn't mind, but I bought 120ml of RA concentrate before we left the UK and it's currently sitting here gathering dust.

OMG!!!!!! Perpetua - you are an absolute STAR!!! That site has Capella's vanilla custard (and all their other flavours) cheaper than Capella's own site right now and other brands are priced well there too. Bookmarking their site and currently filling a cart. Oh dear. Just when I thought I had more than enough...

Hiya Perpetua! I went a little mad on Capella's site when I first moved here and have way too much of their stuff now. Bought gallon containers of PG and VG at EssentialDepot, nicotine was bought from RTSVapes and I just stocked up on French Vanilla Deluxe and sweetener at MyFreedomSmokes. I need to find a good all around site for stocking up on flavours from everyone but Capella next. Think RTS will be the 'go to' on that front, but not really looked into it yet. A lot of the vendors over here give the option to buy larger bottles at a discount. Better deal than having to buy a bunch of 10ml bottles to get where you need to be. Will have a nosey through the dessert section later today. Currently up to me eyeballs in pumpkin pie and cheesecake ingredients getting ready for Thanksgiving on Thursday.

My friends over here are always asking me why I put extra letters in words so I try to Yank speak for them on facebook...then the Euro crowd pipe up giving me stick for spelling things wrong. I'm all about desserts. Just had a read of Kreed's custard recipe. Think I'll be giving that a go soon. I'm stumped because I've run out of basic things and need to order. Currently have a cart open on an American site for mixing stuff and so far there's only 125ml of French Vanilla and 30ml of sweetener on the list. Looking for any excuse to add more obviously.

Oooh newdawn , I wonder how she's getting on with married life in the US? It's been a hectic 18 months, but married life is excellent lairey We bought a house in March and LOVE it here. Been dealing cards at the Horseshoe casino in downtown Cleveland part time to save for a pool in our back garden and just enjoying life. I've been rubbish at keeping up with the latest in vaping and really need to get my act together again. Been leaving the house without spares and leaving mixes to the last minute when I've next to nothing left to vape. That said, I'm nearly out again and was just about to sit down to some mixing. Thought of you guys, so here I am! Any great new recipes I should add to the list while we're at it?

Microstick landed and worked initially, so I thought I'd swerved the problems here. 5 minutes later, it gave up on me. That was two weeks ago and I've been too busy since to worry about it. We finally got around to sorting the problem just now with the help of Pepperty's thread and it's back in action. Cheers all!

I've had mine since last October and they seem ok. Not had a full go of daily use with them for a few months though because I've switched over to other things. One thing I will say...don't drop it in the toilet. It won't work after that. Promise. I used to have two of them until an unfortunate accident with a loo. Three months seems a bit on the light side. I'd have expected them to last at least six months. You might want to switch over to something with independent batteries. All batteries have a limited life span. If it's built in to the device, the entire device is then limited. I've got a Vamo and a few mech mods as well as a drawer full of rechargeable batteries. If a battery goes, you just replace the battery instead of having to replace the whole device.

I've glazed over the thread, literally...my eyes started to glaze trying to get the head around all the trouble you had. Will get Jack to read it when my microstick arrives because he's got a better attention span than I do. Just glad you got it fixed eventually and you're enjoying it now.
