Iatty wick

So sorry I've not been around for a while, school holidays and some other issues are getting in the way at the moment.

Is everyone sorted for their wick? I've only realised today as I've had to make a new coil and noted how little wick I have left.

I've not heard back from the UK company so can only imagine that they're not interested in supplying us. I could still order from the USA if there's enough wanting the wick, it's going to work out extremely cheap.

I'm certainly in need of some wick Dee . . . Tim was organising a group buy for some, from a Supplier local to him . . . sad events have naturally taken precedence for him, but I'd imagine once he is able to place an order, he will.

What size is the wick, and roughly how much per metre please, Dee?

I'll be needing around 50metres of 1mm wick to ship out with my atties.

It's the thicker stuff that came with the Iatty I'm afraid Clockworks, so it's not going to be of any help to you.

The supplier that is here in the UK would be perfect but they're not interested

Hi all, just picking up this thread. The group buy is still on schedule for my wick supplier. Original plan was to send out paypal invoices to everyone the monday following my holiday, ie this coming monday, abd that hasn't changed, so not too late to join in... Sorry for the hijack!

I've just got home, so i'll shortly look at what the order quantities are like. If need be, and if I can afford to (get paid Friday), i'll bump up my order to cover the MOQ for the 1mm, I'm already buying extra 3mm as it is, i'll then just list it for sale on the site at the same price. That way, I can keep a float of it, and theres always some available for those that catch this late on. Keeping I'm the spirit of the group buy, though, it will be listed at the same price, I won't be making any money on this.

Totals so far for the wick.... I have orders for:-

1mm Wick - 95 metres
3mm Wick - 440 metres

As the 1mm wick has to be manufactured there is a higher MOQ of 200 metres, whereas the 3mm wick is part of their standard manufacturing process so has a MOQ of 150 metres. This means that at present there is a shortfall this order of 105 metres for the 1mm wick. I know what I've previously said, but I can't afford to spend £75 on 1mm wick... so unless the orders for 1mm wick increase substantially, this will have to roll over until next time.

3mm wick isn't such a problem Perpy, I'm more worried about the 1mm to be honest....
