Thanks for the memories. It's that time of year, coming up to Xmas, and people we've grown up with depart this Earth. It's weird how it always happens, and unfortunately there will be more.

'The Professionals' aired in my late 20's and was a 'must watch' programme. It really is times like this that makes you think what you've done with your life... and it's scary!

Hi Di... It may be something to do with Lewis being the same age as me, and yet I still see him as 'Bodie', young, active and everything in front of him. Where did all those years go... is it all now too late to make a difference?... I don't know... but I wish I could. Regrets eh?

Well said Raffles. The professionals was a great show back in the day. We use to run round pretending to be Bodie and Doyle while singing the theme tune, we could never get anyone to be Cowley as we wanted to kick ass.

Strange thing for me is that only the other day we were watching a repeat of the 'Gentley' series, with Martin Shaw and we were wondering what Lewis Collins was doing now. We reminisced about 'The Professionals'and how it was a must see programme.

I was in high school at the time of the show, and we would all talk about the latest episode that we had seen! (Had a bit of a crush on Martin Shaw if truth be told!)

As you say Raffles where does all that time go    ???

Nicely put, Raffles. Such sad news. He was a bit of a hunk & I was lucky enough to meet him, lovely guy. I daresay he had to buy new shoes afterwards, as the ones he was wearing would have been ruined with drool.

The Professionals was one of my favourite shows from that era ...sad to hear of Lewis's early demise.
