Hi
I'm just an old fashioned girl with a tornado (no mods)
and so far have 510 stuff.
I want to try 910 which I gather gives more flavour/less throat hit.
Can anyone give me advice on what to get and the best way to get set up with some 910 gear.
I know that this info. is somewhere on the site but I cant find it.

It's 901 liz and you could use your existing batteries if you buy a 510 to 901 adaptor.
Which you can buy from most of the vendors who advertise on this forum.
I'm not a 901 fan myself so I'm sure someone who is will be able to fill you in a little more

If you wanted to upgrade your equipment ref50 has an excellent 901 mod here that is very cheap but amazing value for the money and you could then buy a 901 to 510 adaptor to use all you 510 atties on it aswell, I can't praise this mod enough for the price.

Liz, as Camper says, you just need a 510 - 901 adapter & you can then use 901 atties on your Tornado. The LR (Lower resistance) 901 atties are the best as they will give you flavour, throat hit & lots of vapour.

If you are going to go down the line of using LR atties, I really would consider going for a big battery mod as thee has been reports of them frying Riva batteries - think the weak point could be the button on some of them. May be wrong, but I think you could be OK using them on Tornado.

I really don't understand why 901 atomisers are so very unpopular, can someone please explain the reason? is it cos they don't fit many things?

I did check out a 510 atomiser once and wasn't particularly impressed..

Beeps, I think some of it was due to ECF & the American market falling in love with 510's, at the time the 510 was first introduced, the us had just started to join ECF on volume. That market, as it is so huge, IMHO swayed the manufacturers to go with the 510 thread with the majority of add ons - ie it was a timing issue.

Looks like I'm in a minority then??..just hope that the 901 atomiser doesn't become extinct like.

Hi Liz, I use The Echo 1300 (901) with the cartomiser, once I learnt to become patient with it, ie filling 3ml juice in the cart and letting it soak over night and not overfilling it (that ruined the auto battery). A typical man!
I love this little kit. Lots of flavour and good vape. Jason VE recommended it and he was spot on. I use it all day. I use the don for home. I don't know how it compares with any 510 kit though?
