Twitter bomb Wednesday 4th December
Are you on Twitter? between 1930 and 2030 (UK Time) there will be a twitter bomb and we need your help. Tweet something (lots of somethings!) with the hashtags #ecig or #euecigban for the entire hour. We can do this world wide and make a great impact. Tweet to #ecig using celebs (checkout @ PVapes for a recent twitter sesh with loads of tweets to ecig using celebs) get involved people! We need to make some NOISE!

Being a Twitter Dumbo here, can I get some clarification about this Bombing business?

Is the intention that the pro-ecig celebrities listed above get bombarded with thousands of Tweets?

Because if so - I can't understand how this would do anything other than piss them off immensely.

That's why I think I must be missing something and need clueing up ???

VE Jason Hi Jason, there are many celebs who vape,they may not know whats going on ref the ban. by tweeting them,we hope they will voice against the ban,and tell other celebs to do same.
Some may know the right contacts to help over rule the ban.
Also gain publicity for stopping the ban,via newspapers, TV, anywhere they can.
Object: get message across anywhere we can.

Thanks Jeff for clarifying.

But, I fear you are confirming what I feared....if you know what I mean.

If they are already vapers, why not send them the relevant links in a controlled manner rather than thousands of the same thing?

Saving the main bombs for the politicians who ignore anything less.

I'll just point out that I'm fully behind the latest petition (which seems to be gaining ground in a massive way), so I'm in no way trying to de-rail anything - just wanted to understand the workings and logic behind it.

VE Jason Jason we wherever possible will not bombard the celebs, or as you stated `piss` them off. All tweets hopefully will have enclosed the relevant links. We must also be very polite.

Peeps will be monitoring who has been tweeted.

MP`s & MEP`s are very important to tweet to.

We only have till Monday to acquire as many sigs as possible, as Mr Clive Bates will be present during the presentation of the signatures.

I hate twitter with a passion
I deleted my account about 2 days after I opened it and I'll never go back
So I'll be dropping no bombs
