Right, I've registered on twitter.... but I'm lost, re-tweeted some stuff but really not sure what I should be doing?

Do I just follow MPs etc then write stuff and they see it? (that doesn't make sense to me?)
Don't have a hashtag on this keyboard or can't find it!, will dig old keyboard out of cupboard, but do I just write "hashtag"EUecigBAN when I post something? And if I do who sees my post?

For those unsure what this is about, it's all about gaining maximum exposure for our cause. By concentrating the effort into a one-hour window (the Twitter Bomb) it helps to ensure that a topic is listed as "trending" which in turn drives more people to have a look at what's going on. The topic is denoted by the hash-tag (the # symbol). So, we were including #ecigs and #euecigban in all our tweets. That put those two topics in the top three trending list and gave people who didn't know what it's all about something to click on and read about.

The plan is to focus our tweets on our MPs and MEPs by addressing tweets directly at them using the @ symbol. If anyone is unsure who their MP or MEP is, you can get a list of your local politicians from writetothem.com and then looking up their twitter names on the twitter site.

Ecigs have enabled me to get off the cigarettes etc etc please don't ban @MP-name @MEP-name then hashtag-EUecigBAN

Yes indeed - but you have to use the '#' symbol rather than type 'hashtag'

lol, yeah need to dig out old keyboard..my keyboard doesn't have key(foreign keyboard running in uk mode!)

You could always copy and paste a # symbol

With my spelling I should type out tweets ready and copy and paste whole thing!

boyofford Snap !!! that`s exactly my method. Write out all the tweets in advance then just copy & paste. You can proof read prior to tweeting.
