Ain't got a clue @freefromsmoking never had one. I read reports about some kicks making a pulsing, rattly sound which is why I went for the evolv kick2 .... was just wondering if this was a rattly one .. if it wasn't it would be handy as a backup at the price. |

It is the rattly one..As far as I know, all Kicks of Chinese origin are..
I find they are better at driving genesis attys than a linear regulator, in that they heat the coil quicker, especially with thicker wires. Haven't tried the Evolv2 yet.
And when people talk about rattlesnake noise it's very muted. It's not all that loud. I have no idea why such a big thing is made of this.

Ah, is that why my Gensis atty is better on my SID and Vamo than my Evic maccafan? I ordered a Sigelei Kick for my K100. It arrived this morning and so far it is working great with my Aga T2. The noise is less than a Protank. |
