Hi Jaysey, Yes PG nicotine base is more 'popular' than VG base, but it all depends on what ratio of PG/VG you normally vape (and see yourself mixing), as to which is right for you.
[EDIT TO ADD ] If you prefer 50/50 or higher VG content go for a VG nicotine base, if you prefer 60/40 or 70/30 PG/VG then stick with a PG nicotine base.

I got both to start the vg nic base is harder to use in my opinion it's thicker and harder to measure small amounts for beginners when we don't want to mix large bottles.

...and as Postmodern are not allowed to say this on a non vendor thread I will. Look at Postmodern smoking and their mixing kit ( you can remove items you do not want) www.postmodernsmoking.com/index.php/shop/diy-e-liquid-mixing-1/mixing-accessories/diy-mixing-starter-kit.html as it is very good value and I work out as being cheaper than LT. Remember your forum discount as well. AAEC10 for 10% off. You will also need to add some flavourings, and again Postmodern Smoking have good prices on Flavourart favourings which I find are stronger than others so you need less and are very good. I do not use anyone else's flavourings anymore.

babs Where did you get your VG nic? All VG nic I have bought has been diluted and very similar viscosity to PG base nic. If adding VG diluent then you normally will pre thin it with distilled water or vodka. Reason VG base nic should be diluted by supplier/manufacturer is nicotine does not mix fully in Glycerine and will separate out. By adding water to thin the glycerine to make what is known as Aquious Glycerine ( AG) then the nicotine binds onto the water molecules which then mix fully with the glycerine. Hence why most you buy is actually already thinned.

Problem I have with that supplier is not knowing where the base is sourced from. With PMS it is the purest you can get and fully traceable and bottled in Pharma clean rooms etc. Would you buy cough mixture bottled by your local corner shop or go to a chemist?

Ohhhhhh! thats a terrible analogy I have given, but hopefully you know what I mean. I also think for a novice mixer better to stick with 54mg, 72mg is a touch too high should a mixing mistake or accident happen.

Hi babs, who was the vendor? I also note you say it is 1.2% so that is just 12mg and not 54mg stuff. I have yet to find 54mg glycerine base which has not been diluted, hence why I am interested in vendor. 100%VG with 10% flavouring and no thinning is almost unvapable in most atomisers.
