Evolv Kick

I use a Kayfun Lite on a Roller with an version 1 evolv kick and recently it seems to be cutting out in short pulses. I'm using AW 18650 batteries and it still cuts out with a freshly charged battery. Has anyone experienced something similar? Not sure if this is a fault with the Kick.

I have a v2 kick, and I believe the short pulsing is supposed to let you know that the battery is depleted and ready to be swapped.
As you mention this is happening with a freshly charged battery, there could be an issue with your kick module or the battery..
Have you cleaned all the contacts?
How old are the AW batteries? Do you have any other batts to test with?


I personally find my v2 cuts out quite early...
The advertising states: Low Battery Cutoff - 2.7V Loaded
I haven't measured the loaded voltage yet, but I find my batteries (efest & torchy) still measure around 3.5-3.7V unloaded when the v2 kick starts pulsing.

Thanks PYR0, the 4 batteries I rotate are quite new. The contacts have all been cleaned. Maybe I'll invest in a new V2 kick but the flavour and amount of vapour is good without a kick so probably not worth another purchase.
