GunJack - I take your point! I will try the adaptor that jeffc has kindlt posted to me first, and I have today picked up my other Vamo which has been on loan to zeldamum. Just to confuse the issue, I saw her Vamo v3 SS (the one with all the spirals in it!). I have to admit that it looks a lot better in SS than I thought it would, and the eGo/510 fitting looks to be a better quality than the v1 and v2 that I have. Decision, decisions!! I'll have a muse over the next couple of days and then make a decision.

chykensa just be aware the v3 is more expensive than the v5...only a couple of dollars, but tesco (every little helps )

Thanks GunJack, tesco indeed! If I do buy another Vamo (and the jury's still out on that decision at the moment), I will probably go for the V5 SS. I need to do some shopping around to get the best deal though!

I need to do some shopping around to get the best deal though! I've had one in my ft basket for a month or so now...just waiting to see if nice mr raid can fix poorly lavatube mark 1.G
