HI folks...

Just a quickie to say thank you all for your patience over the last couple of months. I had to make some tough calls due to personal and family circumstances and that put paid to this, which is my hobby.

I am now back in vapeland after a very last minute opportunity to vend at VapeFest this year thanks to the guys at Eden Mods!

I will be making a proper announcement about a couple of new offerings in the Vape Grips family when i have some pics and proper details.... if you saw me at VF2014 then you already have a good idea of what is coming!

I'm still faffing about with rubber bands and the washing up Marigolds - I too would be interested in knowing of these are still available!

I dont know how I managed WITHOUT mine, since getting my Rose v2 they have been used daily

My set looks a bit worse for wear since the rose landed too Q

One grip is considerably shorter than the other too... (in half     due to hubby not me!!      and not by being used on a rose - but something DIY at home??)

I messaged chainmaker a few weeks ago wailing in desperation, but no reply as of yet - I too spend minutes wailing and weeping and gurning using multiple rubber bands and have marigolds in my vape box

I cant even open food jars without intervention so vape gear is a nightmare, last week I actually cried tears of rage over a jammed 510 to ego adapter welded onto my tank and then my mod.....I actually threw a tantrum! after checking I was alone in the house

I sent chainmaker message on facebook on oct 15th requesting a set of these grips, one of my kayfun's (genuine) threads get rather tight and its a bugger to undo for a clean.

Hope chainmaker comes back soon as this looks like a cracking little innovation!

It is basically just 2 pieces of thin rubber, but sometimes the best ideas are the simplest

As luck has it - my impulsive shinyitus means that my postman is here almost daily, delivering chunky delicious vape parcels secured together with nice meaty elastic bands - so far these are my savior!

But I would prefer nice wide vape grips to save my thumbs from repetitive strain injury

Just after vapefest I contacted chainmaker on facebook and ordered myself another 3 sets, as far as I know he's still knocking them out.
Blooming handy little buggers they are, wouldn't be without them

Hola Folks!

It is I, the wierdy beardy pimpernel! (the slightly odd shed dwelling version of the scarlet one).

As before personal and family matters have kept me away from the shed and interwebs. I thank you all for your patience while i have gotten things back on a fairly even keel.

VapeFest 2014 went by in a blur and was a great success but since then i have not been able to progress with the current offering or the new line(s) till now.

But... to give a heads up, in the next couple of days i will be launching a new line of Vape Grips that were designed primarily for 26xxx cell equipment but also based on feedback from customers requesting a larger grip even for 18xxx cell equipment.

So... i will shortly be bringing you the new "XL Vape Grips" which are roughly 130mm x 24mm in size (a standard Vape Grip is about 82mm x 15mm). Does`nt sound like much but they are much larger!

Additionally i will be offering a personalisation service whereby you have a name of your choice (within reason) engraved on one grip per set (there are 2 grips in a set) replacing the AV logo for a small extra fee.

I am shooting the photos and sorting the prices and details at the moment so keep `em peeled for full details in the next day or two.

On a slightly down note there may have to be a price rise on the standard sets to cover cost increases in materials, consumables and energy prices rises since i started making them. This has yet to be decided but if it does happen i will implement it a short while after the announcement to allow for orders at the current price to be placed.
